Extracted from the fresh flowers ylang-ylang tree (Carnage Odorata) —often found in rainforests of Asian and South Pacific Islands— Ylang Ylang oil is often applied to the skin directly to promote relaxation and helps lower blood pressure. It is composed of chemicals like benzyl acetate, linalool, methyl benzoate, P-Cresyl methyl ether, and 3-methyl-2-butenyl acetate. This fine composition enhances its effectiveness and makes it one of the most useful of all the essential oils on the planet.

Ylang Ylang oil serves several purposes to help restore normal health condition. As an antidepressant, it heals cases of nervous breakdowns, acute depression, anxiety, sadness, and even chronic stress. As antiseptic, it speeds up healing of wounds to avoid sepsis and tetanus. Even further, Ylang Ylang oil soothe tension and bring the sense of calmness in the entire body.
